Missing 15-year-old girl located: Abbotsford PD
ABBOTSFORD — A spokesperson for the Abbotsford Police Department has confirmed that a missing teenager who was the subject of multiple social media posts over the weekend has been located.
AbbyPD spokesperson Sgt. Paul Walker told Fraser Valley Today via email Monday night that a 15-year-old girl who was reported missing was located safe and sound on Monday, June 9.
Over the weekend, several Chilliwack and Abbotsford area Facebook groups contained posts about a 15-year-old girl who had traveled from Kamloops to Abbotsford to attend a program, and was last seen in the area near the Abbotsford Costco on Saturday.
Police had not issued a news bulletin about the missing girl, but the posts about her are still visible on multiple Facebook pages in Abbotsford and Chilliwack.
