Chilliwack ice cream shop to hold hiring fair this weekend

CHILLIWACK — A Chilliwack-area ice cream parlour with three locations in and around Chilliwack will hold a hiring fair this weekend as it looks to add more people to its staff roster.

Kent’s Ice Cream Co. posted on Facebook Tuesday that it will be hiring for all three of its locations at its hiring fair this Saturday, June 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at 47582 Yale Road in Chilliwack. The company says it’s looking to add some “fun individuals” to its team.

People who are interested just need to bring their resume and interviews will be held on the spot.

The minimum age of hiring is 16 years old, and priority will be given to those with weekend availability.

In addition to the Yale Road location, Kent’s Ice Cream Co. is located at 5535 Vedder Road just south of Keith Wilson Road, and in Cultus Lake across from the waterslides on Columbia Valley Highway. The Yale Road and Vedder Road locations are open daily, while the Cultus Lake location has more seasonal hours.
