Chilliwack-Cultus Lake MLA to host Opposition Leader Rustad next week

CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack-Cultus Lake MLA Á’a:líya Warbus will host Opposition leader John Rustad, leader of the B.C. Conservative Party, at a political fundraiser next week in the Columbia Valley, southwest of Cultus Lake.

The fundraiser will be held Saturday, June 7 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Chestnut Springs Cidery on Erho Road.

The event will feature Warbus, Rustad and Langley-Abbotsford MLA Harman Bhangu.

The dinner and program will be held under large reception tents. Horse-drawn carriage rides will be provided from the parking lot to the event area.

Attendees will be treated to a dinner menu featuring a pig roast. Gluten-free and vegetarian options will be available.

Chestnut Springs is a licensed venue serving their own cider, as well as non-alcoholic beverages.
