MAPLE RIDGE — B.C.’s gaming authority is cashing in on sports fans along the Fraser Valley with its latest sports betting lounge in Maple Ridge.

A PROLINE Sportsbook Lounge has opened today, May 24, in The Well Public House at Chances Maple Ridge. The new lounge features three self-serve betting terminals for pre-game and live bets, as well as a 25-foot screen showing up to eight games at once.

“We are thrilled to open our newest PROLINE Sportsbook Lounge at Chances Maple Ridge,” said BCLC’s Chief Operating Officer Dan Beebe. “With wall-to-wall displays and a modern sportsbook offering, we believe that the lounge will provide an exciting and memorable experience for both sports fans and bettors alike in Maple Ridge and across the Fraser Valley.”

At today’s grand opening from 3 to 9 p.m., players also have the chance to play for more than $10,000 in prizes.

“We are confident that this PROLINE Sportsbook Lounge will complement the hospitality scene in Maple Ridge and beyond,” stated Wayne Odegard, Regional Vice President, BC Operations, Great Canadian Entertainment.

The sportsbook is the third such spot to open in British Columbia, after BCLC’s lounges at Parq Casino in Vancouver and Chances Casino Kelowna. A fourth one is set to open in Cranbrook later in June.
