AbbyPD investigating naked male hiker on remote trail, with mental health factors involved
ABBOTSFORD — Police in Abbotsford say they’re investigating two separate reports of a naked Caucasian male who was observed hiking without any clothes on in Eagle Mountain east of Abbotsford earlier this week, with mental health factors likely involved.
According to a social media post from police, AbbyPD received two reports this past Monday, May 5 of a Caucasian male in his 50s, with shoulder-length brown hair, walking naked along the Eagle Mountain trails.
Police say they’re investigating both incidents and are seeking additional information from the public.
In both instances, police say the man did not interact with anyone but was walking in the same direction as other trail users. Mental health considerations are believed to be a factor in these incidents.
