Police say a man driving a white Tesla Model 3 approached her and asked her to get into his car. When she refused, the suspect allegedly forced her into the vehicle.

The woman was assaulted and later managed to escape in the 600 block of McKenzie Road, where she found help from nearby citizens.

Abbotsford Police say the suspect is a heavy-set Hispanic man, approximately 5′ 8″, in his 30s to early 40s. He has black hair in a ponytail and was wearing a black tank top, dark grey shorts and flip-flops.

Investigators say the man was not known to the victim. No arrests have been made.

Police are asking anyone who may have been in the Gladys Avenue area between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m., or the McKenzie Road and Vye Road area between 5 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., to contact the AbbyPD.
