CHILLIWACK — Spring is set to bloom in Chilliwack as Greendale Acres Farm kicks off its seasonal festivities with the return of the Sweet Spring Flower and Animal Festival.

The festival, running from March 27 to May 11, will welcome visitors of all ages to the farm to celebrate the beauty and bounty of spring.

Visitors can look forward to a Tulip Pyramid, Daffodil Gardens, Dutch-inspired displays and a U-Pick Tulip field. Returning favourites include the Greendale Express train, Jumping Pillow, Adventure Course, Animal Displays, Bubble Bar, Pedal Cart Track, Hay Bale Maze, Duck Races, and picnic areas.

In a news release, Greendale Acre Farm says more than 100,000 tulips will be in full bloom, creating a vibrant landscape punctuated by a ‘Tulip River’ and classic Dutch-inspired features such as footbridges and a windmill.

The festival also marks the return of Lily’s Barnyard, providing visitors a chance to interact with the farm’s friendly animals. Available on weekends, the hands-on experience includes opportunities to pet, brush and observe various animals up close. Visitors on weekdays will still have access to other animal displays on the farm.

The festival is open to visitors aged three and older for $15 on weekends and $12 on weekdays. Admission is free for seniors aged 75 and older. The farmstead is located at 41905 Yale Rd. in Chilliwack.
