
Abbotsford PD investigates shooting that left bullet holes in a home just east of Abbotsford Int’l
ABBOTSFORD — Police in Abbotsford are investigating a shooting earlier this week that left bullet holes in a home on Columbia Street near Abbotsford International Airport.
According to a statement from Sgt. Paul Walker, AbbyPD patrol officers were called to the 900 block of Columbia Street on Tuesday morning, February 11 at 8 a.m., after a resident discovered bullet holes in their home. Police say witnesses reported hearing gunshots around 12:40 a.m. early Tuesday but did not notify police at that time.
The location is just east of Abbotsford International Airport in a largely farming area of the municipality.
Police say no one was injured during the shooting. AbbyPD’s Major Crime Unit has taken conduct of the investigation and is working earnestly to discover the motive behind the shooting.
