Upon arrival, emergency crews found two fishing rods and a green Bass Pro Shop toque in the water near the location where the cries were heard. However, a thorough search of the area yielded no sign of the individual or further evidence of their whereabouts.

The fishing gear recovered included a black and red Bass Pro Shop spin caster, a brown and gold 11.5-foot trophy bait caster, and the green toque. Investigators are hoping these items may help identify the person involved in the incident. The items left behind suggest someone may have been fishing in the area.
