CHILLIWACK — A specialty coffee truck that became a popular venue for coffee lovers sauntering along the nearby Vedder Rotary Trail won’t be returning to Vedder Park this year.

Amble Coffee announced on social media this past week that it will cease operating its popular coffee truck at Vedder Park along the river because it was not granted access to its site where it had previously been located.

“We have unfortunate news: due to the fact that we were not granted access to our usual location along the river for 2025, we will no longer be operating the Amble Coffee Truck,” Amble wrote on Instagram. “It was an incredible five years of serving our community along the river, and we want to thank each and every one of you for supporting us.”

Amble Coffee’s brick-and-mortar store is located just up the road in a modern, contemporary location at 5535 Vedder Road, surrounded by multiple quick-serve eateries like Good Taco and Church’s Texas Chicken and newer retail establishments.

“While this chapter is coming to a close, we’re excited that our shop is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to continue to welcome you there,” Amble said. “Your smiles, stories, and company have always been the heart of what we do, and we hope to continue sharing those moments with you. Thank you for everything. With love, Amble Team.”

The company says on its website that its coffee truck became a place where people could slow down and eliminate the hurry.

“Life can busy but it’s important that we stay grounded with nature and each other. The idea behind Amble Coffee is that as you enjoy a cup of coffee or tea you would slow down, taking in the moments around you and enjoying the presence of the people you are with,” Amble Coffee wrote on its website.
