Upgrades planned for Chilliwack Cultural Centre with donation from Chilliwack Players Guild
CHILLIWACK — The Chilliwack Cultural Centre is celebrating a $10,000 donation from the Chilliwack Players Guild to fund seating upgrades at the Rotary Hall Studio Theatre. The improvements are expected to enhance comfort and accessibility for patrons.
“We are delighted to give back to the Rotary Hall Studio Theatre, a space that has been integral to our productions and the development of local theatre in Chilliwack,” said Clint Hames, of the Chilliwack Players Guild.
The Rotary Hall Studio Theatre is considered a hub for creativity, hosting both local and travelling productions. In a news release, the Chilliwack Cultural Centre says the upgrades funded by this donation are targeted to improve the audience experience and strengthen the venue’s position as a cornerstone of the arts in Chilliwack.
“We are deeply grateful for the Players Guild’s support,” said Jean-Louis Bleau, Executive Director of the Chilliwack Cultural Centre. “This donation not only enhances the physical space but also underscores the power of collaboration in strengthening Chilliwack’s arts scene.”
