Showers likely during Rotary Christmas Parade in Downtown Chilliwack: Environment Canada

Nov 30, 2024 | 7:35 AM

CHILLIWACK – Canada’s weather agency is predicting showers for Saturday night, potentially impacting the 2024 edition of the Chilliwack Rotary Christmas Parade.

Environment Canada’s forecast calls for an 80 per cent chance of precipitation and temperatures around 6°C when floats begin winding down Yale Road at approximately 5:30 p.m.

However, the likelihood of rain is expected to decrease as the event progresses.

Despite the forecast, organizers anticipate another significant turnout.

The parade will start at Chilliwack Senior Secondary School and travel along Wellington Avenue, College Street, and Reece Avenue.
