Outdoor skating rink offering free access opens this week in Harrison
HARRISON HOT SPRINGS — The Village of Harrison Hot Springs says its Starlight Skating Rink will open for the season starting this week.
The skating rink featuring a synthetic surface of 70 feet by 70 feet in size will open for the season starting this Friday, November 8. The facility is free to use.
The public is welcome to bring their own skates for free, or rent them for a fee from the concession building. The concession operates between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday during the month of November.
The facility is located at 495 Esplanade Avenue, the boat launch parking lot, and is open on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no private or hockey rentals of the facility. As a friendly reminder, the rink is unsheltered so attendees should dress for the occasion.
