CHILLIWACK — A passenger sedan veered off the Yale Road overpass in Chilliwack Tuesday morning (Oct. 29), prompting a response from Chilliwack RCMP and Chilliwack firefighters.

Chilliwack firefighters were initially paged at roughly 10:07 a.m. for the report of a rollover on the eastbound off-ramp at Yale Road (exit 109) and Highway 1. On arrival, firefighters discovered a single vehicle that had rolled off Yale Road and into a ditch.

Two RCMP officers could be seen speaking with a female outside of their SUV cruisers. The female did not appear to be under duress at that moment and it’s not known if she, the possible driver, sustained any injuries, as there were no ambulances present at 10:21 a.m.
