UPDATE: RCMP say 3 females have been arrested in alleged Fraser Valley stabbing, released on conditions
UPDATE THURSDAY, 1:30 P.M.: Mounties in Surrey say the three suspects who were involved in an alleged stabbing of a woman earlier this month have been identified and arrested. Police say on Wednesday, October 16, the three suspects turned themselves in to the Surrey RCMP. All three have been identified and arrested. Two suspects were arrested for assault and one was arrested for assault with a weapon, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose. All three suspects are youth and were released on conditions. The investigation remains ongoing to complete a report to BC Prosecution Services for charge recommendation.

FRASER VALLEY — Mounties in Surrey are asking for the public’s help in identifying three female suspects who allegedly stabbed a woman in Whalley earlier this month.
According to a statement from Surrey RCMP spokesperson Corporal Sarbjit K. Sangha, police responded to a report of an assault on Sunday, October 6 at 12:30 a.m. in the 10200 block of University Drive. Responding officers arrived on scene and discovered that a good Samaritan had transported a female victim to the hospital with serious injuries consistent with stab wounds. Police say the assault occurred at approximately 11:42 p.m. on October 5, 2024 on a sidewalk in front of a residential property.
