City-wide garage sale gives Chilliwack residents a chance to extend the life of clothing, household items

CHILLIWACK — A city-wide garage sale, described as “a unique opportunity” for Chilliwack residents to encourage the reuse of materials, is set for Saturday.

The fall garage sale, which offers free advertising for participants on social media and in the local newspaper, runs for five hours and showcases gently used clothing and household items.

The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 21 and is one of two annual events held in both spring and fall.

A list of participating addresses and items for sale is available on the city’s website.
