Strategist Rachael Segal to headline women in politics showcase in Chilliwack

CHILLIWACK — A former issues and policy advisor within the Canadian Federal Cabinet will be a keynote speaker at a Women in Politics showcase in Chilliwack this month.

Political strategist Rachael Segal, who has experience working on political campaigns in Ontario and B.C., will share her insights at the Women’s Leadership Collective event “Why Politics Matter for Women” on September 19 at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre.

The discussion will include a Q&A with Segal and explore the vital role women play in politics.

The event, which runs from 6 to 9 p.m., will be free for students and provide opportunities to meet with local leaders, activists, and community members.

RSVPs are required, and fees are $50 for Chamber of Commerce members and $65 for non-members.
