Chilliwack RCMP looking for 38-year-old man linked to drug trafficking investigation, wanted on 2 warrants

CHILLIWACK — Mounties in Chilliwack say they’re looking to locate a 38-year-old who is wanted on two outstanding warrants and is linked to a complex investigation involving trafficking, obstruction of justice, bribery and a host of other serious offences.

According to a news release from RCMP spokesperson Corporal Teresa Parsons, Jeffrey Tkatchuk has been charged with a number of offences stemming from a complex drug trafficking investigation within a Correctional Service of Canada facility in the Fraser Valley.

As a result of an investigation by the Chilliwack RCMP Drug Section, Jeffrey Tkatchuk is facing charges of obstruction of justice as part of a criminal organization, conspiracy to obstruct justice, conspiracy to bribe a peace officer, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence of trafficking in a controlled substance and obstruction of justice.

A warrant was issued for Jeffrey Tkatchuk’s arrest, but when police attended his home to execute the warrant, he was not located.

Jeffrey Tkatchuk is described as:

  • Caucasian male;
  • 38 years old;
  • 5’8 / 173cm tall;
  • 181lbs / 82kg;
  • Black hair; and
  • Green eyes.

Tkatchuk is currently on parole and was found to have failed to comply with the conditions of his parole. Consequently, a second Canada-wide warrant has been issued for his arrest. Tkatchuk was last believed to be in the Vancouver area.
