Chilliwack RCMP seeks identity of two suspects in assault investigation

CHILLIWACK — Mounties in Chilliwack are appealing to the public for help in identifying two suspects they believe were involved in an assault earlier this month.

According to a news release from the Chilliwack RCMP media relations unit, Mounties in Chilliwack responded on Monday, August 12 to a report of an injured man in the 9000 block of Garden Drive, located south of First Avenue and east of Young Road north of Highway 1 in Chilliwack. Frontline RCMP officers attended the area and located a male victim suffering from a head injury suspected to be caused by a weapon, police said. The victim was transported to hospital by ambulance, where he is expected to recover from his injuries.

Investigators have obtained CCTV footage of two suspects who are suspected of being involved in the assault.
