CHILLIWACK — A sleep apnea clinic that has been operating across from Chilliwack General Hospital for over a decade now will relocate to an updated facility in Sardis sometime this fall.

Jennie Jackson, a Chilliwack registered nurse who works at the clinic, told Fraser Valley Today Wednesday (Aug. 21) that OxyLife Sleep Apnea Clinic will relocate to 7134 Vedder Road, near Canco and Hugo’s Mexican Grill on Vedder, at the end of September. The clinic has been operating since 2013 across from CGH in the “little white house” at 45601 Hodgins Avenue.

The company’s lease is up at the end of September, and while the current location represents a prime location in Chilliwack on a main arterial, Jackson says the clinic looks forward to serving people in a more updated facility that will offer better parking options for their patients.

The clinic’s staff consists of Jackson, who previously worked at Chilliwack General Hospital as an RN, as well as Amanda, a full-time medical office assistant, and Heather, a part-time medical office assistant. They have an off-site manager as well.

In addition to Chilliwack, OxyLife Sleep Apnea Clinic has locations in Kamloops and Prince George. It provides therapies and products to help people suffering from sleep disorders, including CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) machines, CPAP accessories and nasal pillow masks. The clinic encourages people who need sleep solutions to ask their GP or nurse practitioner to fill out one of their referral forms.
