Harvest Bakery Café in downtown Chilliwack embarks on relocation
CHILLIWACK — After 12 years as a fixture in downtown Chilliwack, Harvest Bakery Café owners Kevin Klassen and Ronald Romeyn say the beloved bakery will relocate to a new space on Mill Street and embark on a new chapter in their business journey, not far from their current location.
“Our move is a fantastic opportunity to grow and innovate!” said Ronald Romeyn, co-owner of Harvest Bakery Café. “While we’ve cherished our time in our current space, the new location allows us to better serve our community. With this move, we will have to say goodbye to some of our Harvest favorites, but we’re excited to introduce an updated menu featuring both our beloved classics and new favorites. This means we will no longer be able to deep-fry, so it’s a fond farewell for now to our Harvest donuts and other deep-fried treats. But don’t be discouraged – we plan to introduce delightful donut pops that will keep the spirit of our famous donuts alive!”
Harvest Bakery Café says it prides itself on partnering with local vendors and businesses who specialize in ethical and sustainable practices.
“As a family-run establishment, we are dedicated to providing comforting and nourishing meals made from the heart. Our in-house bakery offers an abundance of freshly baked goods and treats,” the company said in its news release about the relocation.
