Update: Teen girl reported missing in Surrey has been safely located

SURREY — Surrey RCMP say the 14-year-old girl who was reported missing over the weekend has been safely located.

According to a news release at 9:42 a.m. Monday (July 29) from the Surrey RCMP media relations unit, Mounties in Surrey say the 14-year-old girl has been located, and she is safe and sound.

“Surrey RCMP thanks the media and public for their assistance,” Mounties said.

Fraser Valley Today has removed all identifying information about the teen.
