Popular yoga fitness studio coming to Popkum

CHILLIWACK/POPKUM — Oxygen Yoga & Fitness, a popular studio offering a variety of group yoga and fitness fusion classes with over 50 locations across Canada, is poised to open in Popkum east of Chilliwack this fall.

According to its website (oxygenyogaandfitness.com), OYF will open in unit 103 at 52964 Yale Road East in Popkum in the Rosedale Village shopping centre, next to Starbucks and Dairy Queen, in fall 2024. It did not provide a more specific opening date.

OYF offers intense cardio and core workouts, balance training, flexibility and strengthening, accentuated by deep breathing, relaxation and mind-calming activities in what it calls a “state of the art FAR infrared heat therapy.”

The fitness outfit says participants at its studio will “step outside of your daily chaos and instead embrace the fire within you.”

OYF goes on to say, “You’ll flow or work-out to the hottest beats in a darkened candle-lit studio. The darkness, music & heat will take you to a level you’ve never been before!”

Oxygen Yoga & Fitness is offering a pre-sale, limited time offer of $49 biweekly at the Popkum location. However, the company says this is only available before its doors open this fall.

Oxygen Yoga & Fitness is an official sponsor of the Vancouver Bandits in the Canadian Elite Basketball League. It currently has one location in Chilliwack already at 8249 Eagle Landing Parkway.
