Paving work leads to closures along George Ferguson Way in Abbotsford

ABBOTSFORD — Abbotsford drivers who frequent George Ferguson Way could be in for a frustrating two weeks as closures are planned to allow for paving to be completed.

According to the City of Abbotsford, paving is scheduled to begin Sunday morning (May 5) and continue to May 17 along George Ferguson Way between Gladys Avenue and Babich Avenue.

A complete closure of George Ferguson Way from Gladys to Montrose is planned to run 13 hours from Sunday at 5 p.m. until 6 a.m. If the weather is poor Sunday, the closure will be pushed back 24 hours to Monday.
