Newest Starbucks location set to open in roughly 2 weeks east of Chilliwack

CHILLIWACK — Popkum and Rosedale residents won’t have to wait too much longer before they savour a London fog, venti cold brew, or other varieties of Starbucks drinks.

Without further ado, the Starbucks in Popkum east of Chilliwack will finally open on Friday, May 17 with extensive operating hours Monday through Sunday.

According to a Wednesday morning social media post from Semi Lee, a store manager for Starbucks, the ubiquitous green mermaid will be open from 4:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The opening of the Popkum Starbucks at 52964 Yale Road had been projected to open in August 2023, but was delayed multiple times.

Dairy Queen and Freshslice Pizza are also slated to open their doors in the Rosedale Village commercial plaza.

Another Starbucks is set to open sometime this year at 45044 Commercial Court, inside the Petro Canada gas station, just south of Eagle Landing Parkway and Walmart.
