Chilliwack city-wide garage sale registration begins to close Sunday

CHILLIWACK — The City of Chilliwack is urging residents to register for the upcoming city-wide garage sale. It says the event offers an opportunity for residents to promote the recycling of materials.

The event is planned for Saturday, May 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Those who register by Sunday, April 28 will be provided with free advertising through the city’s website and social media channels. Online advertisement will only be available for those who register between April 28 and May 5, when registration closes.

The City stages two city-wide garage sales every year, once in the spring and once again in the fall.
