Smile Cookie campaign returns to 6 Chilliwack-area Tim Hortons locations; over $90K raised in just 4 years
CHILLIWACK — Besides the need to satisfy your sweet tooth, and its reasonable price point of only $1.50 apiece, there’s another good reason to take a bite out of a Smile Cookie at six Chilliwack-area Tim Hortons starting next week.
According to the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation, over $90,000 has been raised for Fraser Valley hospitals in just four years alone.
Starting Monday, April 29 and running through to Sunday, May 5, Tim Hortons is turning their delicious chocolate chunk cookies into adorable treats that help spread joy and raise funds for the hospitals in Chilliwack and Hope.
“Yep, your friendly neighborhood Tim Horton owners are back at it, supporting the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation (FVHCF) and healthcare in Chilliwack and Hope,” the FVHCF wrote in a news release Thursday (Apr. 25). “In the past four years, thanks to cookie-loving folks like you and the generosity of local Tim Hortons, we’ve managed to raise over $92,131 for our local hospitals. How sweet is that?”
