CHILLIWACK — The Chilliwack Chiefs say they’re proud to welcome Yasmin Baranow to the team’s front office roster as the Chiefs’ administrative assistant and technical director.

In a news release, the Chiefs say Baranow will be a familiar face for many Chiefs fans. She began volunteering for the team during the 2021-22 season and has been a member of the box office and game day team ever since.

“It’s really exciting to bring Yasmin on full-time. She’s been a dedicated member of our Chiefs family and a vital part of our game day. She has great customer service skills and is so passionate about Chiefs hockey,” said Barry Douglas, VP of business operations for the Chilliwack Chiefs.

She first moved to Chilliwack as an international student from Brazil. After graduating from Chilliwack Secondary School, she completed her stagecraft and event technology diploma at Douglas College in New Westminister.
