AbbyPD asking for information on suspicious death earlier this month

ABBOTSFORD — The Abbotsford Police Department’s Major Crime Unit (MCU) has launched an investigation into the suspicious death of a 63-year-old man. The man was discovered in medical distress in the area of Sunnyside Street and Old Yale Road in Abbotsford on April 9.
Emergency responders helped to transport the man to hospital. He passed away later.
Authorities are reaching out to the public for assistance, particularly individuals who may have been in the vicinity of the man on April 9, between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Investigators are seeking any relevant information or dashcam footage that could aid in shedding light on the circumstances surrounding the incident.
In light of the ongoing investigation, the Abbotsford Police Department will not comment further on the case.
