Splash pad coming to downtown park in Hope thanks to donation from local company
HOPE — The District of Hope intends to revitalize Memorial Park in downtown Hope with the advent of a splash pad thanks to a generous donation of $20,000 from BlueTriton Brands.
According to a statement Wednesday morning from the municipality, the district hopes to refresh the park through the installation of a spray park to promote community vibrancy and engagement.
“The District of Hope values our collaborative partnerships and the collective effort to breathe new life into our downtown core,” Mayor Victor Smith said. “Thanks to the generous contribution of $20,000 from BlueTriton Brands, significant progress is underway. This funding will play a crucial role in bringing to life the community’s aspiration of revitalizing Memorial Park.”
The district says the Chamber of Commerce will spearhead fundraising efforts for the splash pad project in conjunction with the Memorial Park Refresh initiative.
