UPDATE: Chilliwack RCMP say a missing 5-year-old boy has been safely located

CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack RCMP say the 5-year-old boy who went missing Wednesday has been located. “We are relieved to report the male child has been located in good health and unharmed,” Chilliwack RCMP Cpl. Carmen Kiener said.

Police had issued an initial news release at 12:31 p.m. Wednesday afternoon before announcing 14 minutes later (12:45 p.m.) that the young boy had been safely located.
