VICTORIA — Caleb Elfering was the lone player to score in a shootout as the Chilliwack Chiefs edged the Victoria Grizzlies 4 – 3 on Saturday (Mar. 24) in Victoria.

Nathan Morin, Stone Rolston and Mateo Mrsic scored goals for the Chiefs who earned an important two points with the win. It maintains the club’s slim two point lead on Alberni Valley in the race for second place in the Coastal Division standings. Both clubs have two regular season games remaining.

Frank Murphy stopped 37 of 40 Victoria shots in the game to earn the victory while the Chiefs fired 42 shots on the Grizzlies net.
