Hope, Chilliwack search crews rescue person who had been missing for 48 hours
HOPE — Hope Volunteer Search and Rescue says a person who had been missing for 48 hours has been rescued with the help of Chilliwack Search and Rescue and Valley Helicopters.
According to a statement from Hope SAR, volunteer rescue personnel from Hope were tasked with initiating a rescue mission on Tuesday, March 19. The non-profit rescue agency says once it spotted human tracks from a helicopter, its ground search team was able to locate the missing person.
