G.W. Graham offensive lineman to play university football in Ontario
CHILLIWACK — Standing 6’6″ and weighing 315 pounds, G.W. Graham football player Brody Munro was a force to be reckoned with on the Grizzlies offensive line this past season.
With his size and strength and work ethic, Munro worked his way up to become one of British Columbia’s top linemen, attracting 12 scholarship offers from a multitude of universities across Canada, including one from the University of Saskatchewan where his dad went to school.
But in the end, Munro picked Western University in London, Ontario as his postsecondary school of choice, making the decision official Friday (Mar. 8) in a social media post.
“After a long recruiting process and talks with my family, I am super excited to announce that I have committed to Western University!!!” Munro wrote on Instagram. “Huge thank you to all the coaches, players, teachers, my parents, and God for giving me this amazing opportunity to further my education and play football at the next level! Go Mustangs.”
