VANCOUVER — Alberta’s Fish and Wildlife Enforcement says two people have been fined a total of more than $25 thousand for offences that occurred in B.C. and Alberta between August 2020 and September 2021.
They say the pair were convicted under the Wildlife Act for hunting without a licence, hunting in a closed season, unlawful possession of wildlife, unlawful export of wildlife, providing false information, and abusing licence requirements.
The B.C. Conservation Officer Service says in a social media post that it joined the agency’s investigation after wildlife-related offences were found to have happened in B.C..
