Delay expected for Trans Mountain pipeline completion

VANCOUVER — The Trans Mountain pipeline will see another delay in completion.

The Crown corporation building the massive project says it ran into “technical issues” last week during construction work in B.C.’s Fraser Valley.

It had previously planned to finish the project near the end of the first quarter.

A statement on the corporation’s website says it’s now working toward an anticipated in-service date in the second quarter this year.
