Evidence sought after shooting in Surrey last week

SURREY — RCMP officers in Surrey are continuing to investigate a shooting that occurred Thursday (Jan. 25) in the 16900 block of 80 A Avenue near the border with Cloverdale.

Police are especially interested in acquiring any video from the area around the time of the 10:43 p.m. shooting. They’re also hoping speaking to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area that evening.

The shots were fired into a residential home however no one was injured.

Police say the shooting was a targeted incident however they haven’t released any information around a possible motive.
