Step Up 4 Cardiac Health happening February 25 in Abbotsford

ABBOTSFORD — The Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation invites the public to dust off their runners and help raise funds for the cardiac unit at Abbotsford Regional Hospital in the 7th annual Step Up 4 Cardiac Health happening Sunday, February 25 at the Abbotsford Centre.

Presented by Ecotex Healthcare Linen Service, the foundation is hoping to beat last year’s fundraising tally of $34,000 with a goal of $50,000.

“Challenge your friends, family or co-workers to see who can do the most steps or raise the most money,” FVHCF wrote in a news release. “We have prizing for Most Laps by a female and male, Top Fundraiser, Most laps by a youth and Best Costume.”

Funds raised at this year’s Step Up 4 Cardiac Health will help support the Cardiac Care Unit at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre.
