CHILLIWACK — Details are minimal Wednesday morning at 6:10 a.m., but Drive BC says a semi truck has hit a barricade in Chilliwack.
According to a post on X at 4:40 a.m. from Drive BC, highway maintenance crews are dealing with a semi truck that has hit a barricade on the westbound off-ramp to Vedder Road from Highway 1.
Two heavy tow trucks have been reportedly deployed to the area.
Oddly enough, there are no highway camera images of the Vedder Road interchange (exit 119) through the province or through the City of Chilliwack. Fraser Valley Today had to use a Google Maps image in place of any available pictures of the area Wednesday morning. On Facebook, Skilled Truckers Canada said it had no pictures of the incident.
