Lanes closures coming to Stanley Park causeway Sunday

VANCOUVER — Part of the Stanley Park Causeway will be closed Sunday (Jan. 14) so crews can continue removing trees from the park.

The Ministry of Transportation says only one lane in each direction will be open from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The closure is the first of four planned for this month.

About 160 thousand trees are expected to be cut down in the park after a years-long infestation of western hemlock looper moths.
