Langley RCMP arrests 3 suspects for their alleged role in an armed robbery of a business
LANGLEY — Langley RCMP announced Thursday morning that police have arrested three suspects for their alleged role in a robbery of a business on Fraser Highway that happened earlier this month.
On Saturday, November 18, 2023, at approximately 9:25 p.m., Langley RCMP received a report of an armed robbery at a business in the area of 27500 block of Fraser Highway. Police received information that the suspects had brandished a firearm, assaulted staff members and fled from the business with products and a cash safe.
The suspect vehicle was described as a newer model Ford Explorer. Within a short period, Langley RCMP frontline officers located the vehicle and attempted to apprehend the suspects.
“Despite the suspects’ attempts to outmaneuver law enforcement, swift and coordinated efforts by the police led to the arrest of 3 individuals in the area of Logan Avenue and Glover Road,” said Cpl. Zynal Sharoom. “The Langley RCMP Drugs and Organized Crime Section, General Investigative Section, along with frontline officers have worked tirelessly on this incident to complete the investigation.”
