Weather permitting, Chilliwack’s 150th anniversary with food trucks and fireworks happens Saturday night
CHILLIWACK — Rain is forecast for after 7 p.m. Saturday night, but if Mother Nature holds up her end of the bargain, Chilliwack residents might be able to enjoy the city’s 150th anniversary with fireworks after all.
The city of Chilliwack wrote on Facebook Friday that residents should dress warmly and check for updates as Chilliwack celebrates its 150th anniversary at Townsend Park, 45130 Wolfe Road.
The City of Chilliwack cordinally invites residents to attend an evening marked by over 10 food trucks, music, and fireworks. Residents are asked to kindly bring their own lawn chairs to enjoy the show.
The event gets underway at 6 p.m., followed by music by Appaloosa at 6:15 p.m., and fireworks and music by Good Medicine Songs at 7 p.m.
