Chilliwack Chiefs home for two games this weekend
CHILLIWACK — With two home games this weekend, the Chilliwack Chiefs are looking to make an impact in the BC Hockey League standings and in the community.
Friday night the Chiefs will host the Langley Rivermen at the Coliseum. In partnership with FortisBC, the Chiefs are asking fans to donate winter clothing and blankets to the game. The items will be turned over to the Ann Davis Transition Society to support their work in the community.
The Rivermen sit three points behind the sixth-place Chiefs in the BCHL Coastal Division standings heading into the 7 p.m. game.
Saturday evening, the Chiefs are working with the Valley Huskers football club to host Minor Football Night at the Coliseum. All minor and high school football players will get into the hockey game forfree if they are wearing their football jerseys.
