CHILLIWACK — Southside Church in Chilliwack has pledged to commit $350,000 to help Chilliwack families, single parents and children in need this Christmas season.

While its “All is Bright” initiative had a goal of $250,000 in 2022, the church on South Sumas Road in Sardis adjacent to Vedder Middle School plans to go above and beyond what was committed last year.

“Because no single parent should struggle to provide Christmas food for their family; no child should wake up Christmas morning without a gift,” Southside wrote on its Facebook page. “And we’re going to do all we can to help.”
