RCMP remain on scene on Chilliwack Lake Road Monday

CHILLIWACK — Details are scarce at this point, but RCMP personnel are working on scene at 46120 Chilliwack Lake Road Monday morning following some kind of incident that unfolded Sunday.
At least two uniformed police officers could be observed working behind yellow police tape at the home, which is adjacent to the “Got Wood” property on the north side of Chilliwack Lake Road. There were approximately six people behind the yellow caution tape visible from the street Monday morning.
A police van has been set up in the driveway of 46120 Chilliwack Lake Road. Chilliwack RCMP have not issued a statement but usually do following high-profile incidents.
RCMP officers blocked Chilliwack Lake Road Sunday night, turning around eastbound motorists at 46069 Chilliwack Road, about 1.2 kilometres east of the Vedder Bridge.
