CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack Fire Department and BC Emergency Health Services crews were dispatched Monday morning (August 7) to Hope River Road in Fairfield Island after a car rolled over.
According to scanner traffic and Chilliwack resident Julie Hiscock, who monitors scanner traffic throughout the day, first responders were dispatched to Hope River Road near Killarney after a white VW Jetta overturned and wound up on its roof.
An image shared by Scott Kehler shows a white VW Jetta upside down surrounded by an ambulance and a Chilliwack fire engine in the background. Engine 1 (Cheam Avenue firehall) responded to the scene.
RCMP responded within minutes of the accident, arriving at approximately 7:56 a.m.
