ABBOTSFORD — It’s a good thing the Fraser Valley transit strike is over.
That’s because a Fraser Valley motorist will have to find an alternate mode of transportation, like transit, after being observed speeding at over 154 kilometres an hour on eastbound Highway 1 overnight Wednesday.
Abby PD patrol officers saw this Tesla speeding past the McCallum Road exit and pulled over the class 7 driver. The motorist was given a $1,075 violation ticket for excessive speed, failing to display “N” sign, and driving without insurance.
The vehicle was impounded, Abbotsford Police wrote on Facebook.
