Chilliwack cheese producer Smits & Co.w to mark 13th anniversary on Canada Day

CHILLIWACK — Out on agricultural land between Chilliwack and Greendale is a quaint little dairy producing whole milk, cheese curds, and other delightful cheese varieties for locals to enjoy.

For Sardis residents who like to support local businesses and prefer fresh milk straight from the source, the trip to 5787 Lickman Road just north of Keith Wilson Road is worth the drive.

Chilliwack dairy producer Smits & Co.w Farm Cheese will celebrate its 13th anniversary this Saturday, July 1 on Canada Day.

Ron and Steph Smits invite the community to join them for a fun day on the farm complete with vendors, food, homemade frozen treats, stroop wafels, and a kiddie corral for the little people.

There will be cheese samples, fresh yogurt, quark, curds, and their delicious vla (Dutch custard).
