ABBOTSFORD — A pickup truck driver’s sloppy effort at securing a load of scrap on a flat deck trailer caught the attention of the Abbotsford Police Department this past Sunday.
In a Facebook post Tuesday morning, the Abbotsford PD said its patrol officers observed a pickup truck traveling on Sunday, June 11 with mismatched license plates and an unsecured load of scrap being hauled on an uninsured flat deck trailer in the area of Bevan Avenue.
A subsequent vehicle stop resulted in a violation ticket of more than $800, an impounded trailer, and the license plates were seized.
