Streams Foundation of Chilliwack to honour Harold Zinke’s 24 years of service Saturday
CHILLIWACK — Chilliwack-based Streams Foundation will hold a “Coffee with Seniors” get together this Saturday, June 10 at 11 a.m. at Chartwell Retirement Residences, 9168 Corbould Street.
Chilliwack’s unofficial mayor, Harold Zinke, who has dedicated 24 years of service to downtown Chilliwack as a street cleaner, will be honoured during the coffee event for his 24 years of service to downtown Chilliwack. Zinke does a fantastic job cleaning up Chilliwack and maintaining a positive, joyful disposition in his interactions with downtown patrons, tenants and visitors alike.
“We will be acknowledging/celebrating 24 years of services for Downtown Chilliwack by Harold Zinke, an unofficial Mayor of Downtown,” Streams Canada wrote on Facebook. “Mr. Zinke’s smile and kindness are contiguous. We are so lucky to have him in our community.”
Other highlights of the event feature socialization opportunities, coffee, tea, snacks, pastries, live music, games and gift baskets. There is no charge to attend.
